Polaris ranger will turn over but won.
New to Polaris and EFI. Have 08 sportsman 800. Went to start this weekend and shen I turn the key and hold it turned the motor will crank once then pause, then will crank once and pause, znx do on. Only had the quad a couple months. I have always had yo hold the key over and it would always crank, pause, then start.

From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. RACE TECH : That is your fuel pump relay. Switch the 2 relays out and see if your getting power now. Could also be a ground issue. Check your battery voltage and connections. RACE TECH : 56 - Pump Relay: Open Load. 56 - Pump Relay: Short Circuit to Ground. 56 - Pump Relay: Short Circuit to Battery.

There is a brake line with the switch attached. 2 wires on top. To test to see if the switch is working depress the brake and see if the brake lights come on. If they do this is not your problem. The starting system is the same on this as a car. Jump the solenoid or put power directly to the starter and see if it turns over then. If so then the solenoid is bad.
